More unidentified drones were seen over Denmark overnight into Saturday, just days after a major drone sighting prompted the closure of the country’s main airports on Monday in what officials slammed as a “hybrid attack”.

Unidentified drones were seen near one of Denmark’s biggest military installations overnight into Saturday, according to the Danish Armed Forces, adding to the latest incidents of drone sightings near airports and critical infrastructure.The army did not specify where the drones were observed but police says they were seen near the Karup air base in western Denmark.The recent sightings have prompted the closure of several airports across the country, with the largest and busiest, Copenhagen Airport, closing for several hours on Monday after several drones were seen in its airspace.Close to a half-dozen other airports, both civilian and military, were also temporarily restricted and closed in the days that followed after similar drone observations.Danish authorities have called the incidents “hybrid attacks”.
